about us

Vision
“ReJesus” is about realigning ourselves and our church to the person, mission, and way of Jesus—not just with statements but with a vision state of mind. It’s not about new strategies or events, but about returning to Christ-centered rhythms of life.

Be
"Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did." 1 John 2:6
The greatest, most important decision a person will make in their lifetime is deciding who they believe Jesus Christ is and who they are in light of that relationship. How will you radically recenter on Christ? We seek to imitate the heart, posture, and practices of Jesus our King based on our identity in Him.
Become
"So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ." Ephesians 4:11–13
Jesus Christ created the church to be an equipping community and loving family where an individual can learn who they really are and how to function as the person they were created to be by God. Each one of us has a unique calling and gifting designed by God to serve others.
Do

"For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” Luke 19:10
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. Matthew 28:19–20
Disciple making and multiplication are core to the life of a healthy church following the will of Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ was passionate about seeking and saving the lost. Driven by a compassion inspired by Jesus, sharing the good news is a non-negotiable for followers of Jesus. Together, we seek to make his Kingdom tangible on earth as it is in heaven.
Leadership
The Hungerford Family
2 Corinthians 4:5 – We preach Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as servants for others’ sake.

Our church ministers are Joseph and Madison Hungerford. Joseph became a disciple in the Eugene church where Madison also grew up with her family. Shortly after getting married and learning disciple making in campus ministry, the Hungerfords were sent out to plant a house church in Bend. Returning from that venture after five years, the Hungerfords now love and guide the Eugene church family along with their own three children Thaddeus, Saoirse, and Valor. Maddie has a passion for motherhood, her micro-bakery, and grief recovery coming alongside the church as our women’s ministry leader. Joey loves equipping others, sharing the gospel, stewarding creation, and making Christian video content for biblicallyresilient.org and disciplestoday.org
